A Comforting Flavor You'll Want to Drop By For! Visiting Ringer Hut
The familiar yellow sign around town always brings a sense of comfort—Ringer Hut, a specialty chain famous for Nagasaki Champon and Sara Udon.
This time, after spotting a promotional notice for their extra corn campaign celebrating "Vegetable Day," I decided to drop by for the first time in a while. As a go-to neighborhood spot where you can easily enjoy a generous serving of vegetables, it always delivers that same welcoming charm.
A Harmony of Crispy Noodles & Rich Savory Gravy! Tasting the "Nagasaki Sara Udon (Regular)"
I ordered their signature "Nagasaki Sara Udon (Regular)" (¥900 incl. tax). Along with it, I redeemed a free coupon from the Zeetle app that I regularly use to get an order of 3 gyoza dumplings.

When the plate arrived, it was piled high with piping-hot vegetable sauce over fragrant, deep-fried ultra-thin crispy noodles. Thanks to the ongoing campaign, it was generously topped with vibrant Hokkaido corn, making it look wonderfully colorful.
I started with a bite from the edge where there was no sauce. The light, crispy, crunchy texture and toasty aroma instantly filled my mouth. Next, digging into the section coated in the thick gravy, the crispness of the cabbage and bean sprouts, the pleasant crunch of the wood ear mushrooms, and the sweet pop of fresh corn harmonized beautifully. As you eat, the noodles slowly soak up the sauce and soften, offering a gradual change in texture that is truly the highlight of enjoying Sara Udon.
The accompanying gyoza dumplings were bite-sized with a nicely crisped, golden skin and packed with savory filling—making them the perfect sidekick to the Sara Udon.
Looking at the menu again, in addition to the regular size, they offer various portion options such as "Less Noodles" (¥820 incl. tax) and "Small" (¥590 incl. tax), making it easy to choose based on your appetite. While the ¥900 price tag for the regular size reflects recent inflation and rising ingredient costs, considering their commitment to 100% domestic Japanese vegetables and flour, along with the care put into each freshly prepared dish, it offers genuinely satisfying value.

I used the "Free 3-Piece Gyoza Coupon" earned through points on the Zeetle app. When I tapped my phone on the in-store terminal during checkout to collect visit points, I luckily won another "Free 3-Piece Gyoza Coupon" for my next visit! Having scored a bonus coupon, I'll definitely be coming back soon. I rarely see other customers collecting points with the Zeetle app, but it is such a great deal for regular visitors that I highly recommend giving it a try.
[Summary] Timeless Deliciousness and Comforting Satisfaction
With crunchy vegetables, crispy noodles, and piping-hot savory gravy in every bite, Nagasaki Sara Udon delivered that consistently delicious taste I've always loved, even after a while.
It is the perfect choice when you feel you need more veggies in your diet or when you just want a quick, comforting meal you can count on. With a variety of portion sizes available, be sure to stop by and give it a try according to your appetite!
