It seems that you can choose between a hot or cold version of “Buta-Ten Bukkake.” I ordered the regular (nami) size, but anything larger than the large (dai) size costs over 1,000 yen. To be honest, spending more than 1,000 yen on udon makes me hesitate a bit. I wonder how many people actually order the larger sizes.
I went at a time to avoid the lunch rush, but none of the customers in line before or after me ordered the ‘Buta-Ten Bukkake.’ After placing my order, I was given a number tag so they could fry the pork tempura fresh, and I paid in advance. It was nice to have it freshly made and brought to me.

The pork tempura was bigger than it looked in the photos! On the other hand, the spicy-savory sauce seemed a bit less than in the pictures, but as long as the balance is right when eating, that shouldn’t be a problem.”

“First of all, the pork tempura was hot, crispy, and absolutely delicious! I initially thought the sauce might be too little, but once I started eating, the balance was actually just right.
That said, having three pieces of pork tempura felt a bit too much… By the second half, I started to get a little tired of it.
As for the udon, it comes with tartar sauce, so you mix it in while eating. However, to be honest, the combination with udon felt a bit off. Each component—the pork tempura, the sauce, and the noodles—was tasty on its own, but as a whole, it lacked cohesion, and I didn’t quite feel like they complemented each other well.”
“Final Verdict: ‘Yamamori Asari Udon’ is the Better Choice!”
“To be honest, this dish wasn’t for me.
If I had the choice between this and ‘Yamamori Asari Udon’ at a store that offered both, I would definitely recommend the Asari Udon instead.
I also couldn’t help but notice the difference in menu offerings between stores. It would be great if all locations had the same menu so customers could enjoy their favorite dishes anywhere.”
